Role Summary:

To provide a top class customer service support for Advantage Customers through pro-active account management to ensure that they receive the highest level of service. These customers would include Global Accounts and local Key Accounts that meet the criteria for Advantage Customers. The Customers Support Executive is expected to work very closely with the Country Global Account Managers in meeting the needs of these Advantage Customers.

Main Responsibility :

  1. To act as the key contact person (in-door) for Advantage Customers for their day-to-day operations and service enquiries
  2. To assist the Country Global Account Managers, Key Account Managers and Project Managers to implement SOPs and operational enhancements for Advantage Customers
  3. To provide pro-active account management by co-ordinating and liaison with relevant departments within the country and Network on uplift, customs clearance, track & trace, and transit time performance
  4. To respond to service failures and enquiries over the phone in a timely manner and follow up with the appropriate Country GAM or Key Account Manager to ensure that the customer’s needs and issues are addressed quickly and to their satisfaction.
  5. To conduct customer visitation 2 times a month the least.
  6. To jointly maintain and update Program Files.
  7. To identify opportunities for revenue and account development through the use of questioning and up selling skills, and provide such information to the relevant account manager for further   action
  8. To represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times, and ensure that DHL continues to be seen as the first choice in international express courier/freight services

 

Requirement :

  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Communication skills (English), spoken and written
  • Communication skills (Other languages), spoken and written (desirable)
  • Understanding of the language of business practices
  • 3 years relevant experience in a customer service or key account desk environment.
  • Basic knowledge of distribution and logistics concepts
  • Experience in DHL in the Operations / Services or Customer Services environment (preferable), however, it is possible that the role may suit a graduate trainee who has at least 1-2 years work experience.
  • Bachelor Degree
